Smart Web Technologies Developer

I've worked as a javascript developer for pretty much my whole career. I've been involved in many different types of projects, from enterprise apps to startup products.

React is my current specialization. From state management, auth and API access to CSS animations and drag-drop interfaces, I've seen it all. I've often pushed the envelope on what's possible, doing stuff like server-side rendering (so the first page load is faster) or writing my own custom Babel plugin (to remove some unused parts of the code in a specific build so it's smaller).

Node.js has been a staple of my tech stack for my whole career. I fell in love with it back in 2012, when I realized that it enabled me to use the same code on the front-end as well as the back-end. Since then, I've built countless projects with it, from the 1-file solo prototype to the 10k-lines-of-code enterprise app (as part of a team).

I've hosted many projects on Amazon Web Services, from personal servers to full-on auto-scaling apps.

I was the lead iOS developer at Novom Networks, a small company in the "location analytics" space. I was responsible for improving and maintaining their iOS framework that used Bluetooth Low Energy / iBeacon to augment location services and move app interactivity in the real world.
