JavaScript truly is everywhere today. I've built full scale cash register systems, web apps as part of my travel/gamification startup and games with this language. The open source nature of the ecosystem and Npm is something that makes work enjoyable every day.

I've built everything from robust Web APIs in financial applications to computer games UI with C#. Recently most of my projects have been with ASP.NET Core and MVC for servers and managing build and release systems in Azure DevOps.

I've worked with quite a few aspects of databases such as writing coming up with schemas, writing SQL, creating database projects, deploying dacpacs and working in EFCore.

Worked with Azure DevOps to setup build pipelines and deployments, host repos, code review policies and wikis and task boards. Used Powershell for automating deployment steps.

I've created multistage Dockerfile base images for a company I work for. Migrated old projects to docker and used docker-compose to debug more complex projects.

Love the fast-paced workflow of the web and the ability to debug and fix problems real-time. Chrome dev tools is a tool that really pays off to know how to utilize well. As desktop apps that run HTML/CSS become more common with the likes of chromium and similar things it is really nice to be a web developer.
