Summary

Hi! I am a Software Developer with years of experience teaching and tutoring. I have tutored privately and via Wyzant over the years, and am looking to try out this platform!

I currently work as a co-founder and Chief Tech Officer for Abacus, where I do advisory, consultation, and technical implantation for projects in the Blockchain tech / cryptocurrency space. Prior, I worked at a start up as a web developer, where I worked with Ruby on Rails and ReactJS.

I have a B.A. from Wesleyan University in Mathematics and Philosophy and a completed the Web Development Immersive course at General Assembly, where I have also worked as a TA.
For over a decade, I've been teaching in many different contexts; I've conducted one-on-one sessions, worked at a learning center, taught in-classroom, taught online courses, etc, etc. It's something I've always loved doing, and I'm willing to humbly aver that I've gotten pretty good at it. I am a highly focused, hard working, analytical thinker. I love the challenge of articulating difficult concepts in clear, concise language and of pinpointing and untangling other's conceptual misunderstandings. These qualities make me both highly effective as a tutor and probably kind of insufferable at parties.
