Leading development of a Next.js portal hosted on AWS using a serverless architecture. Utilising AWS services such as; - DynamoDB - Timestream - Lambda - Rekognition - AppSync - EventBridge - Greengrass (IoT) Using the latest front-end frameworks, such as Next, Tailwind, and TypeScript, to create advanced analytics for our users, giving them valuable insights into the real-time operations of their natural gas pipelines. Creating Lambda functions and Python scripts to parse data and score them with an ML model trained through AWS Rekognition, using ML models to cut down on manual processing of data and giving users quick feedback. Adding automated E2E testing with Cypress.io to run on our CI/CD pipeline when merge requests are created.

Davies Group acquired the company ContactPartners in 2020, not much changed initially but as we transitioned to working as part of a bigger company, I worked on new projects; Self-serve claims solution, creating a portal using a Micro React UI, where each page of the solution was its own self-contained React app. I worked as part of a large team to deliver an innovative modern application using TypeScript, Redux toolkit and Yeoman to generate templates for these React applications. Working with an even bigger team of around 20 developers overall, I worked on a solution for the Government to help them handle the removal of unsafe cladding that many mid to high-rise buildings in the UK are using as a response to the Grenfell disaster. I mainly worked on the CMS solution for this where we used a modern stack of React with Typescript, and C# for the server and the Frontend used modern libraries such as Zod, React-hook form, Redux toolkit and mock service workers.
