While I have coded JavaScript since I began programming in elementary school, my years of true JavaScript experience began at Amazon on the Echo companion app.  There I learned modern JS form and style, creating a Backbone.js single page app that also served as a hybrid mobile app.  Since then, I have moved on to co-develop Property Meld's single page app in React  and es6 via babel, with gulp deployment tasks.

My HTML/CSS development began in earnest in university, where I was the Student Association webmaster.  I developed and maintained the websites for the SA itself (including a browsable interface for official university survey results ranking teachers and courses), as well as clubs I was a part of (Rainbow Pride Union and The Binghamton Treblemakers) and clubs that didn't have their own webmaster.  While in college, I also freelanced, primarily for non-profits including charity auctions, an online counseling site, and the Northeast LGBT conference.  I also ran my own website to help students snipe their way in to registering for popular courses.

While Python is a recent skill I've been developing, it is my new favorite language (es6 comes in second)!  I began by teaching myself Python as a backend language for a few small experimental sites, and I now use it every day when developing for my current startup, Property Meld.

My experience in Android is solid, but limited mostly to utility apps/xposed modules, hybrid apps, and testing native apps.

I began Android development at Microsoft as an SDET testing the OneDrive (then SkyDrive) Android/iOS/Windows Phone apps, using a remote test driver based in C# that used shims to acquisition phsyical and simulated devices of each type and convert test commands to their native equivalents.  Accessibility and internationalization were heavy testing priorities, due to the global usage of the service.  I also single-handedly built the server that maintained and custom-flashed physical Android devices for testing, as well as a companion app to encourage dogfooding and both manual and automated testing among team members, to reach a much wider device spec matrix.

At Amazon Echo I was a primary developer of the Android hybrid app, which ran on standard Android distributions from 2.3 to 4.4, including customizations for Samsung and HTC point-to-point wifi configurations, and Single-Sign On integration on all Fire OS devices (Kindle Fire and Fire Phone.)

These days I mostly tinker with Android development on my own time.  I am maintaining a Fire TV xposed module that bridges commands from the Fire TV remote to my LG TV over ethernet and HDMI.

Java was my first truly object oriented language, which I learned in high school and used heavily throughout university.  I've done Java programming for websites (frontend applets and backend Spring) at S&P and Amazon, as well as desktop programming, Android apps, and embedded (LeJOS.)

My C# experience is somewhat limited to my time at Microsoft, where I maintained a C# test framework for mobile devices (Android, iOS and Windows Phone), as well as a C# server to maintain a pool of physical Android test devices, and a C# desktop app with GUI for dogfooding and testing the SkyDrive app on personal devices.

My experience with C is primarily from college - TAing C/++ courses for electrical engineering students, as well as some time testing the SkyDrive desktop app at Microsoft using mock injection.

Django, in conjunction with DRF, is my new favorite backend MVC.  I've used it personally on a few projects, and currently use it every day at Property Meld, where I am one of two principal architects for the webapp.

I used jQuery heavily at Amazon on the Echo companion app, and consider it to be a staple of most JS apps.  However, as I have been using React framework more recently, its need has been diminishing for me personally.

MySQL or similar sql-based databases have backed just about every web project I've worked on.  I have particular experience with maintaining Percona databases and backups, and migrating them to the AWS cloud.

Backbone is to date my favorite frontend web framework.  I love how it does its job simply and efficiently while keeping out of the way and allowing me to optimize everything.  My chief experience comes from developing the Echo companion app, which uses Backbone as a frontend framework across platforms.

I'm professedly not a CSS whiz, but I am more than competent at implementing someone's designs in CSS, and am very familiar with the advantages of less and sass.  I used less at Amazon with Bootstrap, and use sass in conjunction with Foundation at Property Meld.

My assembly experience is primarily school- and personal-based.  In university I learned moderate pic and x86/64 assembly programming.  On my own time, in high school, I developed a number of programs and system apps for the z80-based TI-83+ line of graphing calculators that are ubiquitous in schools, including a tool called CalcUtil with thousands of users that added a great deal of improvements for TI-BASIC programmers, as well as greatly improved memory management for the calculator OS itself.  I also circumvented TI's TestGuard and TestGuard 2 apps, though I never released how out of respect and desire not to be sued.

Foundation is my personal preference for CSS frameworks.  Bootstrap is a little overused among startups and web apps, while Foundation presents a fresh look and allows me to customize it to my needs.  Foundation is the only CSS/sass framework we use at Property Meld.

React is my most recent frontend framework, which I use daily at Property Meld.  I am extremely happy with the V in React, though I have some qualms with its flux pattern (we use the Alt.js implementation, but I have been investigating alternatives.)  I have not yet tried integrating React and Backbone, but I hope to try so someday.

My experience with lodash/underscore began at Amazon on project Echo, and I continue to use it on Property Meld.  It is an extremely useful tool - I never leave home without it!  However, I am happy to see that its usage is more and more being supplanted by es6 and Immutable.js.

I have used s3 at Amazon itself, Apparent Inc, and Property Meld, for a number of tasks (storing database backups, static content, user-uploaded data, and api secrets, to name a few.)  I am familiar with its web interface, the cli, and its API via curl, Java, Python, and Node.js

I used ec2 heavily while contracting for Apparent Inc, helping them migrate their services and websites from bare metal servers to EC2 instances.  I am familiar with its web interface, and its cli.

I use Immutable along with React at Property Meld, and find it to be an extremely efficient way to manipulate and store data.  I think that its usage will skyrocket as more and more people find out about it.
