Lecturer

I learned HTML/CSS 14 years ago, and since then I wrote a lot of websites. I'm up-to-date with the new technologies in this domain, and I'm currently following a course on edX about HTML5.

I am teaching Python for six years now, from basic to advanced knowledge. The courses I teach are about advanced data structures (set, dictionaries and tuples), object oriented programming basics, event-based programming and GUI development with Kivy, error handling and exceptions, text and binary files reading and writing. It also explains how the internet works and provides an introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript and shows how to develop a simple website with the CherryPy web framework. I also introduce my students to numerical methods with the Scipy ecosystem (Numpy, Scipy, Matplotlib and SymPy libraries).

Java is the first programming language I learned. Since then, I then taught Java for 7 years as a teaching assistant at Université catholique de Louvain. Now, I continue to teach Java at ECAM. I wrote a full tutorial about Java, in French, available here :

I started to use Git in 2013. Since then, I have a lot of projects using Git and hosted on Github. I trained students to use Github and made a complete tutorial that is available in French on the following website:
