I have been writing Javascript for 3 years and have built a business around building full-stack javascript apps. My favorite javascript technologies are expressjs, angularjs, react, and I love writing vanilla javascript. 

All web developers start with HTML/CSS. I remember struggling through the first stages of learning and thinking it was just so complicated. Now, HTML/CSS are just part of my daily routine and are really made simple by the existing frameworks like Bootstrap and Foundation.

I have just gotten started in Go and LOVE it. I'm currently working with a machine learning expert building some machine learning packages in Go. My focus with Go is in web development.

Node.js is awesome. Most of my projects and the apps I have built to run only on my machine as shell scripts, etc. are all written in Node. Javascript is where I started programming and I am most comfortable in Javascript so Node makes a ton of things possible within my comfort zone that wouldn't be possible without it. I have over 10 production apps in Node.js scaled and deployed and running without (cross your fingers) problems. :-D
