I have worked with Ruby on Rails. Building business projects for clients, ranging from e-commerce apps to multi-tenant childcare application. I have worked with devise authentication engine, paperclip attachment tool, and manipulating PDF documents among other tools. I have done some personal projects and open-source projects, including a rack-based micro-framework, a resume maker and others.

Ruby is like a second mother tongue to me and it feels good speaking it :)

I was reluctant to pick up ruby programming language at first. But when I did, I couldn't let go.

I have built an application with Sinatra and rack middlewares. Developed and released some ruby gems

I built a micro web framework with ruby and rack imitating the directory structure and autoloading of rails.

RSpec is my favorite testing framework in ruby. I have experience working building and testing rails app and following the test-driven-development process.

I have played with Node for 3 years, contributing to some of my company's internal micro-services built with Node. I'm currently working on a Node/Express starter kit (Jano) that follows the Rails folder structure and uses the SequelizeJS for ORM.

I have worked with teams building React based apps. I have used Flux and Redux, redux being my preferred choice for data store.

I am comfortable with version control using Git. Confident to tackle and resolve any merge conflict.

I have experience manipulating the DOM, making AJAX requests and listening for events with JQuery.


HTML/CSS was the starting point. It is one of the inevitables in the web industry. I can't help but be an expert in it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
