Summary

At first I thought: It's about solving the problem.
After a while I thought: No, I need to know what we're trying to accomplish.
Finally I thought: No, I need to know what our goals are.

Of course, it's all of these. If we define goals, this lets us get a handle on requirements and that lets us figure out what problems we need to solve.

... and, let's not forget, we need to shoehorn all this into a budget and a schedule.

I love working with folks from warm spots like southern California, especially in winter!

My secret weapon is my dog. She keeps things in perspective: Belly Rubs!!!

Over more than two years, taken this project from a quick proof of concept to final beta. In addition to the webapp itself, this meant developing a backendto enable easy deployment of either uncompressed or fully minified code to our dev or production servers. One of the greatest challenges has been being willing to incorporate new technology and features along the way. More than once, it's been necessary to abandon promising avenues in order to meet the project's overarching goals. This project has been particularly interesting because of my involvement in the UI design. We've spent a great deal of time ensuring that new features are incorporated in the most accessible, straight-forward way possible.

All9s was a startup developing a product suite of revolutionary tools that were meant seamlessly migrate and replicate cloud environments within and across multiple cloud providers. ➢ My work involved producing the UI that clients used to manage their service(s). ➢ The interface was deployed as an overlay on top of the website. ➢ All data stored remotely for centralization, so Drupal wasn’t really used much. ➢ We had to integrate Drupal with AWS and Java backend. ➢ JSON was used to keep Drupal and the backend in sync. ➢ We were careful with the client facing Javascript to ensure it did not pose a security danger. ➢ Loved it! ➢ Bit of ongoing Maintenance. ➢ Fast paced, evolving requirements.
