Independent Consultant

I've been using Python since version 2.4 to build stand-alone, client-server and web applications. I would call my experience building Python-based web applications extensive, as I've used multiple web "frameworks" (CherryPy, Tornado, Django), multiple ORMs (SQLAlchemy, Django-ORM) and multiple templating languages (Mako, Django templates, Jinja2).

I've been creating database schemas and optimising SQL queries for over 19 years. I enjoy optimising the most complicated queries, including multiple join types and self-joins. I'm especially familiar with PostgreSQL, although I have used MSSQL and MySQL before.

I primarily use Angular 1.x when doing front-end development, but am also very familiar with jQuery and jQueryUI.
