I started as a devops engineer for Comcast.  I learned Ruby there to use the deployment stack.  After that, I enrolled in the University of Washington's Ruby program.  I have been a Senior Developer in every position I have taken since then.  I now teach the Advanced course for the University of Washington's Ruby program.

I have been a web developer for over 10 years.

I have taught basic to intermediate git usage in my Ruby and my Ruby on Rails courses at the University of Washington.

I believe in TDD.  I teach RSpec usage at the University of Washington.
