Summary

I am a senior back-end developer (Java) with 7+ years of experience.

I studied computer science in college and got a bachelor's and master's. After graduating, I transitioned to the industry where I have worked on web applications backed by Java and the Spring/Spring Boot frameworks and Oracle database. I've also done some work with batch processing (Spring Batch), and shell scripting on Linux environments.

Computer science education and programming is a passion of mine, and I've always taken opportunities to volunteer to mentor/tutor students ranging from elementary school to college. There is a shortage of software developers, and I'd like to continue to do my part to help with that.
