I started programming with Rust within the last year, but have already found it to be my preferred programming language.
• I now use the async-std library to write asynchronous code with stable Rust.
• I have found it simple to setup Webassmbly applications with Rust that would otherwise be written in Javascript.
• Rust's compiler gives some of the most useful error messages compared to many other compilers I have used.

C/C++ were the languages most of my college's curriculum had me use, I was fond of their low-level efficiency.
• I prefer C over C++ but would rather program in Rust than either of them

Javascript was one of the first programming languages that I became familiar with.
• I first used Unityscript (inspired by Javascript) in high school when developing a 2D game and since have been using Javascript in the browser and with Node.js.
• This language introduced me to object oriented and asynchronous programming concepts, along with the idea of full stack web applications through Vue.js.

A Rust library crate for interfacing with OrbitDB's REST API, along with a binary that allows for executing commands via the command line interface.

Rust OrbitDB HTTP Client

A full stack web app that is designed for Portland State University's HR department to assist PSU employees with determining the amount and type of leaves they are eligible for. The employees are asked a series of questions that is based on a directed graph. Additionally, this web app includes features for an administrator to change much of the directed graph by manipulating a Cytoscape graph.

Leaves Calculator

A 2D genetic algorithm simulation that displays a top-down perspective of 'fish' who are swimming within an enclosure. The fish have predatory behaviors based on their size, eating each other or just the stagnant 'food' if they are too small to consume fish. They reproduce asexually through cloning and have a possibility of developing genetic mutations.

Evolution

Roost is a repository viewer for the Pijul VCS. It is meant to be similar to Github, Gitlab, or The Pijul Nest, but is only intended for offline work. Roost is a fork of Percy's isomorphic web app example, allowing majority of the source code to be in Rust and compiled to web assembly.
