SaaS startup in the HR Tech space. Architected and developed the backend stack; staffed and led the technology team.
  
- Completed a production build out on AWS, featuring Jenkins-based build automation, unit tests and Cucumber-based end-to-end tests.
- Designed queue-based worker to offload heavy computation and data processing from the REST API.
- Integrated with third-party APIs, including Salesforce and Zapier.
- Bug fixes and minor enhancements to responsive web app, working in AngularJS, HTML and Sass.

Reporting to the CTO, I led a distributed team of 20 engineers with responsibility over architecture and roadmap delivery for the Provider business unit for Medecision. My team was responsible for all design, development, QA, deployments and infrastructure for a SaaS-based platform that scaled to support close to 2 million member lives, and millions of healthcare transactions. 
  
- Re-architected monolithic single-tenant ASP.NET/C# application to a multi-tenant SOA with an AngularJS frontend and SAML-based SSO. 
- Built ETL framework to process real-time EDI and HL7 transactions, as well as scheduled batch updates.
- As part of the company’s Innovation Labs, I developed 3 separate mobile prototypes incorporating social media and gamification, winning recognition at multiple premier healthcare events (see below).
- Diagnosed bottlenecks on the application’s SQL Server databases, improving performance by 350%.

I've build REST APIs; oAuth solutions (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn), interfaced with multiple APIs (Stripe, Twilio, Google Cloud, Google Maps, Salesforce, Zapier), built background worker using RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing.

I have rich experience as a database developer and architect. I am very comfortable working with relational databases, be it designing the data model or building advanced queries. I also have some DBA skills, I can profile for performance bottlenecks, read query plans and implement indices.
