As Site Reliability Engineer: 

Responsible for design and developing tools to monitor and maintain Best Buy's highly available e-commerce website’s health to ensure its SLA is achieved, particular through hair-raising traffic received during Holiday season.

Helping to ensure the performance, availability and resilience of all e-commerce applications is one of the main goals of mine along with ensuring all Operation and Product Teams have the resources required to perform their duties.

Development, maintenance and analysis of industry leading tools to ensure Best Buy is equipped to support and deploy applications to e-commerce website. These tools will range from internally developed and open source applications along with commercially available SAAS and on premise solutions.
