As a Freelance Mobile Developer I had the chance to work on projects in more than 6 different industries with smart people from all over the world. I developed an interactive live gameplay streaming application which was acquired by Microsoft, worked on mobile apps in the government and education sector, and also built an innovative mobile software-defined-network stack for one of the biggest network operators in the US.

At Netcetera I led a team of 5 engineers in building a Mobile Banking Product which served as a core component around which we developed 50 other mobile applications for Swiss banks.  This was a long-running project, and my focus on security, stability and modularity had a positive impact on the efficiency of development and deployment of the product.

I am a 'Google Certified Android Developer' with over 7 years of experience in Android and mobile projects in more than half a dozen different industries. 
During my career, I have built apps for transportation, finance, gaming, government, education, messaging and many others.
Some of the projects I worked on have more than one billion active users, others have been acquired by big tech companies including Microsoft.

Extensive experience with many different versions of Java. I have been using the language for over 7 years, from university assignments to production application.

Most of my experience with Java comes from building mobile applications in Android. 
But I have also created web apps and REST services with Spring and Hibernate. One such project was for parsing and displaying big amounts of air pollution data.

I am comfortable using the broad range of the Java stack and also its language specifics. Also committed to clean code principles, Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration.

Kotlin is my go-to language for building new Android apps. I have shipped multiple apps to production running on 100% Kotlin and enjoy working on it for it's simplicity and ease of development and understanding.
The language gives developers many benefits, reduces boilerplate code, and helps us get up-and-running in no-time. At the same time I try to not overuse many of its nit and bits in order to stay as efficient as possible.

I have build a few prototypes on iOS and am very much familiar with the mobile development flow. My work on iOS has not involved anything big yet, but I'm very quick on picking up experience and pace in a new codebase.

My go-to scripting language. Easy to understand, clear and expressive. My experience with python includes personal scripts for automating common tasks, building out Raspberry Pi projects and playing with web frameworks like django and flask.
