I’m a Full Stack Software Engineer with 5 years of experience building enterprise-level applications with JavaScript(ES5/ES6) and over the past 3 years, my focus has been working with the MERN ( MongoDB, Express, React, Node) Stack. Throughout my 5 yrs. I’ve spent a total of 2 of those working with CMSs like WordPress and Drupal in tandem with PHP and MySQL on the backend, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3 on the frontend, along with React(Headless CMS). Other experience includes working with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Java, Python, Postgresql, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, WebPack, React-Native, JQuery, Vue, AngularJS and Gulp. For three years of that experience, I’ve worked as a consultant for various Agencies to help build scalable applications for their fortune 500 Clients. Along with working with design teams to take PSDs and Sketch files to create pixel perfect and responsive applications. As far as a breakdown of my skill as a full-stack engineer about 50% of the work I’ve completed has been front-end focus, 40% being back-end focused, with the remainder focused on Cloud technologies. Overall I have the skills and experience to help any individual or company ramp up their development projects, production and build customer-ready products for large and small scale audiences or consumers. My experience as an engineer opened the door to another passion of mine which is teaching and mentoring junior engineers. I’ve spent the past year teaching, mentoring, and coaching budding engineers in University bootcamps throughout the US. Through my affiliation with Trilogy Education Services such as Columbia University, Berkeley, Vanderbilt, UCF, University of Toronto, and the University of Denver. I have over 200 recorded mentor sessions and truly enjoy teaching people how to code and love helping engineers prepare for interviewing with prep and mock Interviews.
