The last 3 years I spent them learning new web technologies; comming from a PHP background I felt the need to keep up with the changing technologies. I learned ruby and python as the platform for teaching programming at the university and then their respective frameworks Django and RoR.

The last 3 years I spent them learning new web technologies; coming from a PHP background I felt the need to keep up with the changing technologies. I learned ruby and python as the platform for teaching programming at the university and then their respective frameworks Django and RoR.

Been a web developer for about 10 years, my first experience was developing in PHP, using the mysql database. Up until today, I still found mysql to be very impressive on its reliability and speed. My greater achievement was replicating three database, two locals and one remote during a national election. 

My main framework for all javascript when developing a web application. Lately I'm been tempted into learn AngularJS or AmberJs, but still in love with jquery and its great simplicity.

Working on my own academic startup, I develop a complete system for small schools with lead me to learn HTML, CSS. Then on, working, with U.S. startups I needed to update my skills to HTML5 and CSS3.

Lately I got proficient working and managing twitter bootstrap and started learning responsive design.

Working with several U.S. startups in the pass years I got the handle of git to work on distributed teams.

I learned scrum as part of the update on my career to help me manage my developers teams and also my personal startups. Since the first interaction I notice the improvement we get from learning this agile methodology

My first interaction with nosql database, use to record information about the behavior of the users on a web application. Help me identify where and when we should use a nosql database instead of a relational database.

My first web development language, my first 8 or 10 web applications were developed using PHP, the biggest achievement was the development of my university's learning platform, which integrates with its registration office.
