A German newspaper uses some fancy algorithms to move text around.  I built one of them.

Hosted Extraction Console

The client wanted to minimize order to deliver for a factory.  Linear Programming with clever heuristics were used here.

Optimize Production Planning

We used AWS S3 and SES to make it possible to automate and schedule email campaigns.

Bulk email automation

Used linear programming to maximize the amount of windows that can be placed on a set of pallets.  The orientation of the windows also needed be considered.  This also required some clever heuristics.

I used Levenshtein distance with some heuristics to make an algorithm to score names used for trademarks.

This was tricky to get perfect.  Most other syncing solutions sync once a hour.  This solution keeps over 3000 skus in sync with less than 1 minute delay.

Real-time Shopify Inventory Syncing

A client had a source code repository and a new exe (but lost the code).  I decompiled the exe and created working human readable source code that compiled with the same functionality as the new that was provided.

This was a WPF application with a lot of XAML files.

Wrote code that optimally generates meal plans over a 28 day period based on daily and meal macro goals.
