Summary

I’ve been working with embedded systems since 2000, both hardware and firm-/software, with a six years break to complete my Ph.D. studies. The research years gave me great theoretical foundation in machine learning and a general interest in new technologies. Most of my projects have evolved around new designs, prototyping and moving from a prototype into a mature manufacturable product. Selecting tools that support testing, manufacturability etc is also something I have been involved in.

My spare time is dominated by family activities with my kids. I try to stay in tune with new and relevant technologies by reading blogs, books and podcasts.

Board bring up
System design and firmware for hardware interaction and board bring-up on a power control system (inverter), CAN communication and bootloading (among others). The system controlled an pahse shifted H-bridge for heat induction. We used an Infineon ARM Cortex M4 XMC4400 microcontroller.
