Python has been an integral part of my toolbox for my work as a data engineer as well as an open source developer. In addition, I use Python's scientific stack extensively for data science competitions.

Have worked on data science projects from different domains as an employe and freelancer in addition to being a regular with data science competitions and hackathons. In particular, a lot of my work has focused on building tools and frameworks to ease the data science process.

I have been involved with R project for statistical computing for more than 2 years now through the Google Summer of Code program, both as a mentor and student. In the process, I have extensively worked on both low-level stuff such as memory handling as well as high-level processes such as data modelling and visualizations. I maintain a R package, Rperform, which has been fairly popular of late.

- Active participant in machine learning competitions with notable results across multiple platforms including Kaggle, Analytics Vidhya, etc.
- Maintained and developed machine learning infrastructure at a fintech startup.
