About

I've been into tech all my life and that has lead me into working with a mix of command line, mobile and PC games, and web development. Along the way, I've learned that I enjoy teaching and helping others through school and working at summer tech camps.
I also play the alto sax and am getting into kick boxing for some more activity in my free time.

I work as the lead instructor for a coding program in Memphis. I introduce young adults to software development using the web technologies then the Node, and .NET stacks. I have 10 years experience as a developer and have done full stack work for a variety of clients including the US Army, Sedgwick, Shelby County Schools, and numerous other freelance projects.

My work at CodeSchool has stood up a completely in house software development curriculum that saved $100k/year expense for outside curriculum. I've also advocated and initiated Open Source software development as a way to generate support and consistent development exposure to the students and community at large.
