I am a multiple award-winning writer, game designer, narrative designer, and editor. I have 7 years of experience in the gaming industry — including jobs in sales, marketing, social media management, localization, narrative, and design — as well as a decade of experience in editorial.
I am a Women in Games Ambassador and champion of DEI practices in games. At my last studio, I founded a women and femme-identifying identity group with the hopes of supporting, elevating, and empowering my fellow employees. I am a big fan of mentorship, and I'm available to give talks to school groups, studios, and at conventions.
When I'm not working or gaming, I enjoy writing fiction, reading fantasy, gardening, and spending time with my husband, toddler, our border collie, and three cats.
Work Experience
I worked on Hytale for Hypixel Studios as a Game Designer - Personalization and Social. In this role, I worked collaboratively with our Design Director and a small team of fellow designers, as well as with cross-discipline strike teams on specific features. I worked on a large portion of the Personalization design vertical, including Avatar customization, which touches almost every area of the game. I was a part of weekly design meetings, worked independently and collaboratively throughout each sprint, and frequently presented my work to the design group and our leadership team. I am comfortable with written design docs, MIRO, Favro, and other tools in this role.

I worked as a remote Writer I on Choices (Top 100 RPG, Top 200 Free in the App Store) for Pixelberry Studios. At the moment I’m working on the highly successful sequel book The Nanny Affair 2, a steamy romance geared toward women 18-30. I’ve also had the pleasure of working on High School Story: Class Act Books 1-3, Witness: A Bodyguard Romance Vol. 1-2, Across the Void Book 1, Baby Bump Book 2, and Shipwrecked. I’ve been on many of these books from day one through final release, and participated in weekly brainstorms, outlines, and syncs with my team. I’ve been lucky enough to write both established characters and brand new ones, all while using Pixelberry’s proprietary narrative and testing tools.
