Performance Marketing Manager (Remote)

What’s the role?

This is a fast-paced, high-impact role that will shape how the world discovers Zupe. As our Performance Marketing Manager, you’ll take the lead on all things paid marketing — planning, executing, and optimising performance-driven campaigns across multiple channels to drive user growth, engagement, and ROI. We’re a startup moving through launch, market validation, and aggressive scale — so we’re looking for someone with a mix of tactical ability, strategic thinking, and data obsession. You'll work closely with creative, product, and analytics teams to tell powerful stories through data-backed campaigns. No red tape, just lots of opportunity — we need someone who’s excited to build and scale from the ground up.

We’ll trust you to:

• Own and scale all paid performance marketing channels including Meta, Google, TikTok, and others.
• Develop, manage and optimise full-funnel campaigns for acquisition, retention and conversion across web and mobile.
• Set, monitor, and report on key KPIs including CAC, ROAS, LTV, and more.
• Work with our creative team to test and iterate high-performing ad creatives that resonate with our wellness-first audience.
• Design and implement A/B tests to improve conversion and ad effectiveness across channels and audiences.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to align marketing strategy with in-app user journeys.
• Identify and test new channels, tools, and trends to ensure Zupe stays ahead of the curve.
• Build scalable systems and frameworks for campaign planning, budgeting, attribution and optimisation.
• Be our in-house expert on digital marketing analytics, using data to inform strategy and drive decision-making.

You’ll need to have:

• At least 5+ years experience in performance marketing roles, ideally in a consumer tech or DTC environment.
• Deep hands-on experience managing and optimising campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and others.
• Proven track record of scaling digital marketing programs in a high-growth environment.
• Strong grasp of performance metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS, CTR, etc.) and experience using tools like GA4, Looker Studio, or similar.
• Experience marketing mobile apps with a solid understanding of app acquisition strategies (ASA, MMPs like AppsFlyer/Branch).
• Data-driven mindset with a passion for experimentation, analytics, and performance optimisation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• High attention to detail and a bias for action — you know how to get stuff done, even with limited resources.
• Familiarity with wellness, e-commerce and/or content-driven platforms.

We’d love to see:

• Experience working in early-stage startups or launching new products.
• Knowledge of Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
• Experience working with creative teams on content for social or paid channels.
• Global campaign experience, with an understanding of localisation and international ad markets.
