Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced Staff Software Development Engineer to join our Integrations team. Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering you'll be responsible for:

• Contributing to the creation and maintenance of integrations between CBI and internal or external products and services, enhancing Zscaler’s offering beyond what a single solution can provide
• Understanding and contributing to the design and development of services enabling these integrations
• Being independent and flexible enough to learn and use the right tools for the right tasks
• Actively seeking to learn and participating in all phases of SDLC: development, testing, deployment, and operations
• Asking critical questions about presented ideas, and also bringing their own, while being open to constructive criticism regarding those ideas

What We're Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

• 2+ years of experience with Go/ Rust/ C/ C++ working on creating and maintaining highly scalable application(s)
• Solid understanding of HTTP and RPC based protocols
• Ability to independently create and understand industry standard system design documents
• Ability to understand and contribute to design and development of services required to enhance CBI’s integrations
• Independent and flexible enough to learn and use the right tool for the right task

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Proficient in Node.js
• Independent to setup/create and maintain CI/CD pipelines
