In this role, you will partner closely with a diverse team of stakeholders, focusing on delivering exceptional solutions for our merchants (B2B) and enhancing our mobile and web products. Contribute to quick iterations and troubleshooting in a collaborative, team-focused environment
Engage in a blameless culture, focusing on continuous improvement through process and technology enhancements
Participate in planning sessions, contribute to feature design, and provide input during daily stand-ups to ensure smooth project delivery

What You’ll Bring To The Team

You possess over 5 years of front-end engineering experience, including 3+ years building robust mobile applications—ideally in React Native—demonstrating a strong ability to deliver seamless cross-platform experiences
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Demonstrated use of AI in the performance of your role – you don’t just use tools, you think in terms of how AI enables smarter work
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries including React Native and React
Experience working in a monorepo environment (e.g., PNPM, Nx, Turborepo, Bazel) is a strong plus, especially where multiple applications or shared packages are managed at scale
Proactive with a focus on getting things done, strong attention to detail and ability to produce high quality work within set deadlines
Knowledge of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities.
Experience with front-end build tools and version control systems (e.g., Webpack, Git)

Zip is committed to a straightforward and transparent pay structure. The actual base salary will be determined by various individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, location, internal equity, as well as other objective business considerations. The annual base Pay Range for this position is $125,000- $137,000 USD This range reflects our US national compensation (USN). Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.

If hired, employees will be in an 'at-will position' and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
