About The Team
The iOS Home Evaluation team at Zillow builds features for the most popular real-estate app in the US, focusing on home details and related actions such as sharing and hiding homes. The team has existed in various iterations for about 10 years and became a standalone team about a year ago to concentrate on enhancing the home details experience. They work at a fast pace, shipping bug fixes and new features on a weekly cadence. The team is excited about creating a modern iOS experience for Zillow’s most visited home details functionality. They have re-platformed to modern approaches after reaching the limits of webviews in their previous method and are now innovating on a fully native surface.
The iOS Evaluate team is delivering impactful features to enhance the home shopping experience. We launched Phase 1 of Multiplayer Shopping with shared tours. BuyAbility 1.5 introduced affordability insights into HDP, and BuyAbility 2.0 will enhance this with dynamic buying power and cost calculations. We also integrated Climate Risk data into HDP, helping users make informed decisions based on environmental factors.
Other recent highlights include high-resolution media and attribution through the Media Partner Program, the launch of the Hidden Homes feature, and ongoing work on a Comparison tool to help users evaluate listings side-by-side.
On the technical side, we’re modularizing HDP components, optimizing FSHDP performance, and improving our CI/CD pipeline with better test automation and coverage.
About The Role
As an iOS software engineer for the iOS Evaluate Team, you will work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and other engineering teams, in order to build a comprehensive and compelling, deep sense of home whenever users view properties on Zillow. This is a high-volume surface with significant visibility across the company. Your work will reach millions of users and we strive to delight each one with a best-in-industry experience.

This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.
In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
