What we’re looking for
We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Data Analyst who can turn data into decisions for our Growth and Marketing teams. You’ll own marketing measurement, build clean and reliable datasets, and deliver actionable insights that improve acquisition, activation, retention, and ROI. You’ll partner closely with channel owners (paid, lifecycle/email, SEO/content, partnerships) to design experiments, evaluate performance, and recommend the next best actions.
In a few words, we’re looking for someone who loves the craft of analytics - clean tracking, solid modeling, tight dashboards, clear storytelling and who is excited to help ZeroBounce scale efficient, data-driven growth.
Requirements
- 2–4 years in marketing analytics, growth analytics, or data analysis (B2B SaaS a plus)
- Strong SQL; advanced Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF, INDEX/MATCH, % change)
- Practical GA4 expertise (events, conversions, audiences) and familiarity with GTM or server-side tagging
- Comfort analyzing data from ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn), email/ESP, and CRM (HubSpot)
- Understanding of attribution (rule-based and data-driven), cohort/LTV, CAC/Payback, ROAS, and funnel metrics
- Experimentation mindset: A/B testing design, sample sizing basics, and rigorous post-test analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate data into clear recommendations
- Bonus: Python or R for analysis, dbt/Snowflake/BigQuery, CDP experience (e.g., Segment), and email deliverability metrics (bounces, complaints, inbox placement)
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and document reliable marketing datasets and data pipelines across GA4, ad platforms, ESP, and CRM
- Define, monitor, and analyze core KPIs (traffic quality, lead quality, conversion rates, CAC/Payback, LTV, ROAS)
- Develop and automate dashboards and recurring reports for channel owners and leadership (weekly/monthly/QBR)
- Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests and holdouts across web, lifecycle/email, and paid channels
- Lead marketing attribution and UTM governance; ensure consistent tracking across campaigns and properties
- Partner with paid, content/SEO, and lifecycle teams to identify opportunities that improve efficiency and revenue
- Conduct deep-dive analyses (e.g., cohort, funnel, retention, pricing/offer tests) and present clear recommendations
- Proactively QA data, resolve discrepancies, and drive data quality standards with Marketing and Engineering
- Translate insights into action: create and follow through on measurable, prioritized recommendations
