About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Email Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is perfect for someone with a solid background in both commercial, lifecycle and transactional email marketing, who can develop sophisticated audience segmentation strategies and deliver compelling, high-converting campaigns across email service providers (ESPs). The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing end-to-end email marketing programs, with a proven ability to blend strategic thinking with sharp execution.
Key Responsibilities
● Email Campaign Management:
Plan, develop, and execute targeted email marketing campaigns, including commercial offers, transactional communications, autoresponders, newsletters, lifecycle campaigns, events and webinars, product updates, affiliate and triggered messaging.
● Strategic Planning:
Design and optimize comprehensive email marketing strategies aligned with business goals to drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
● Audience Segmentation:
Build and maintain advanced segmentation frameworks to deliver personalized, relevant messages that resonate with diverse audience profiles.
● ESP Management:
Manage and optimize campaigns in ESP (GreenArrow), ensuring seamless delivery, compliance, and performance consistency.
● Performance Analysis:
Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, revenue and deliverability to continuously improve campaign outcomes.
● Content and Design Collaboration:
Work closely with the design and content teams to develop visually appealing, mobile-optimized, and on-brand email templates.
● Automation and Lifecycle Marketing:
Develop and maintain robust automation workflows, nurturing sequences, onboarding programs, and triggered campaigns that align with customer journeys.
● Testing and Optimization:
Lead A/B testing initiatives to optimize subject lines, creative assets, send times, and audience segments for maximum impact.
● Compliance:
Ensure all email campaigns comply with industry regulations such as GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other applicable standards.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with marketing, product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure email strategies support broader business initiatives and customer experience goals.
Required Qualifications
● Minimum of 5 years of professional experience managing both commercial and transactional email marketing programs.
● Extensive knowledge of multiple ESPs and email marketing tools (examples: Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, etc.).
● Strong expertise in audience segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content strategies.
● Demonstrated experience creating responsive, user-friendly email designs and working with creative teams.
● Solid understanding of email deliverability, compliance, and best practices.
● Experience developing automated workflows, drip campaigns, and lifecycle marketing sequences.
● Strong analytical skills and familiarity with reporting platforms like Google Analytics or ESP-native dashboards. JIRA experience a plus.
● Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
● Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template editing.
● Background in B2B SaaS or e-commerce industries is a plus.
● Knowledge of CRM integration and customer journey mapping tools.
