Java Software Engineer

The Role

We’re hiring experienced Java engineers to join several long-term product teams in healthcare technology and global entertainment platforms. All roles are fully remote, modern-stack, and embedded in cross-functional teams (backend, frontend, QA, UX, product).

What you will do

• Design and build clean, versioned APIs (REST or GraphQL) and backend services from the ground up or within evolving systems.
• Own services end-to-end: domain modelling, persistence, deployment, monitoring, and tuning for cost and performance.
• Champion code quality: write unit/integration tests, review code, and apply secure-coding and observability best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product, QA, and DevOps on planning and delivery; mentor team members and contribute to technical roadmaps.

Requirements

• Core: Java 11+, Spring Boot (WebFlux/MVC), Spring Security/Data
• Data & messaging: SQL/NoSQL (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB), Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Cloud & delivery: AWS/Azure or similar, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
• Extras: GraphQL, caching, OpenAPI/Swagger, Testcontainers, WireMock/contract testing, OAuth2/OIDC, TLS, and observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK/OpenTelemetry).
