About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who is an expert in TypeScript and has deep experience building scalable systems using AWS cloud infrastructure. You’ll work closely with engineering leaders and product managers to design, build, and maintain reliable backend systems that power mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement high-performance APIs and backend services using TypeScript (Node.js).
Architect and scale cloud-native systems on AWS (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, etc.).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to best practices.
Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and system security.

Requirements

5+ years of professional backend development experience.
Expertise in TypeScript and Node.js.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (serverless or container-based architectures).
Solid understanding of database design (SQL and NoSQL).
Experience building RESTful APIs and working with third-party integrations.
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
