Job Title: Senior Product Manager – CMS (Adobe AEM)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 Months)
Location: 100% Remote (US-based only)
We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead and evolve our internal Experience Platform—a suite of tools, APIs, infrastructure, and services that power our product development teams. This is a contract-to-hire role, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of developer experience, infrastructure strategy, and product delivery.
Top Skills We're Looking For:
- Strong product management experience with stakeholder communication, technical story writing, and backlog/roadmap ownership for developer platforms or infrastructure tools.
- Deep systems thinking and technical fluency to make informed decisions about APIs, CI/CD, config-as-code, and scalable internal tooling.
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms—especially Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)—and a strong grasp of content and code architecture at scale.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own and drive the platform product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and engineering strategy.
- Manage product lifecycle activities including backlog grooming, user story definition, prioritization, and feature delivery.
- Partner with engineering, UX, SRE, analytics, and other cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable internal capabilities.
- Drive adoption through enablement strategies, training materials, and user-friendly documentation.
- Facilitate agile rituals (PI planning, standups, team demos), lead working sessions, and ensure strong team alignment.
- Validate initiatives with stakeholders and engineering leads before execution, ensuring every effort has a clear “why” and “why now.”
- Measure and report on key platform KPIs and OKRs including reliability, adoption, developer satisfaction, and delivery speed.
Must-Haves:
- 4–6+ years of product management experience with internal tools, infrastructure teams, or platform ecosystems.
- Ability to translate customer challenges into value-driven platform solutions.
- Experience working in Agile environments with technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure tooling.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote team environment, drive clarity from ambiguity, and build momentum.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with Postman or similar API testing tools.
- Experience using Jira Align or similar scaled planning tools.
- Experience managing shared libraries or reusable components.
- Proficiency with using data and metrics to inform platform investment and prioritization.
- At least 2 years in internal platform or infrastructure-facing roles.
Disqualifiers:
- Not located in the United States (due to access to PII/PHI).
- Limited technical fluency or curiosity.
- Lack of experience working on internal tools/platforms.
- Weak cross-functional communication or stakeholder engagement.
Why This Role?
You’ll shape the infrastructure that enables faster, more consistent, and higher-quality software delivery across the organization. This is a highly impactful role where your contributions will support teams across multiple brands and functions. If you enjoy building products that power other products—and want to drive clarity, scale, and innovation from the inside out—this is the opportunity for you.
