Senior Software Developer

Contract to hire | 100% Remote (PST Hours)

Company Description

We are a healthcare software and services company specializing in the PACE and HCBS markets, working with Medicare and Medicaid sponsored plans. We provide software for managing enrollment and members, paying medical claims, electronic health records, encounter data, and more.

Role Description

We're looking for a mid to senior-level Software Developer to join our small, fast-moving engineering team.

This is a contract-to-hire, full-time, remote role. The Software Developer will develop and maintain our custom SaaS platform in a full-stack environment using Microsoft Blazor, .NET API, and a document database.

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, maintainable code
• Developing and supporting software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
• Helping us expand our use of AI tools to increase developer productivity
• Writing new unit tests
• Participating in code reviews
• Providing application support, including investigation of complex tickets

Qualifications

• Required: Strong coding experience with Microsoft web technologies (C#, Blazor, .NET, Entra)
• Required: Hands-on experience with AI tools and models (e.g., AI-assisted coding tools, LLM integrations)
• Healthcare domain experience (EHR, Claims, Medicare/Medicaid, Vision)
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience with document database design and user interfaces
• Experience with Blazor, RavenDB, and EDI desirable
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
