Role Description

We are seeking a support developer with deep understanding of development best practices and troubleshooting for WordPress and Shopify. You should have experience with building custom themes, using theme frameworks, actions, hooks, filters, Liquid code, etc. Core technology competencies should include Javascript frameworks (Next/VUE/React), PHP/MySQL, HTML/CSS. The ability to quickly implement new features and troubleshoot problems is key.

This is a part-time contract role. You will be given access to our support system where we'd assign tasks as they come in. We anticipate around 20 hours per week of work initially. Our workload has increased dramatically and this role has potential to convert to full-time. You will get to work with clients from a range of industries, as well as a variety of interesting projects.

Requirements:

• You must have in-depth experience in WordPress and Shopify development specifically. No training will be provided. This is not entry level.
• Must speak English at an idiomatic level and comfortable with direct client facing communication via Zoom.
• You will need to generally be available Monday - Friday 9a - 5p CST. If a ticket comes in we need someone who can begin work quickly as many are high priority. This is not a nights and weekend role. Availability is key.
