Software Engineer - GenAI

We’re searching for talented engineers with hands-on experience in GenAI: if you excel in building RAG pipelines, evaluating and deploying GenAI models, and working with state-of-the-art AI architectures, we want to hear from you. Examples of previous projects include building custom chat applications, working to optimize processes using agentic workflows, and building evaluation pipelines for continuous improvement.

You’ll join our GenAI Delivery team, a passionate, talented group working on client engagements that bridge the gap between GenAI and software engineering. As part of the GenAI delivery team you will support our clients, mostly large banks and corporates, to adopt GenAI and Agentic AI in their finance processes. When you’re not working on client projects, you’ll join our team of engineers who work on our own cloud-based platform, Zanders Inside, where we provide various applications to our clients in banking and (international) business.

Previous experience developing robust software for banks, fintechs, or tech companies is an asset, but not required. If you’re eager to work on GenAI, collaborate, and grow, Zanders could be the perfect place for you.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Relevant Education: Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Experience:

• 5+ years developing software applications

• Demonstrable experience with building GenAI products and knowledge of the inner workings of LLMs and agents is required

• Experience with developing RESTful applications, task queues and related technologies is a plus

• A basic understanding of DevOps technologies and platforms (Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu and Helm) is preferred

• Mindset: A collaborative, hands-on problem-solver who’s ready to bring ideas to life.

• Flexibility: Ability to frequently switch projects you’re working on

• Location Flexibility: Hybrid role based in Zagreb, willingness to travel for projects.
