Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join a Federal Program working remotely. The Senior Salesforce Developer will work on the Salesforce platform and provide IT development in support of Marketplace initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Senior Salesforce Developer include:

Approximately 75% of this role focuses on custom development using Apex, Salesforce Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), JavaScript, and other modern programming tools once fully onboarded.
Design and build Lightning components using custom LWC in JavaScript, the Aura framework, and the Salesforce Lightning Design System, while maintaining proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and SOSL.
Partner with the Product Owner to gather requirements, propose solution options, and identify dependencies within the existing Salesforce implementation.
Lead the end-to-end architecture of the Salesforce Platform, including Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (Portals), and Tableau CRM, as well as system integrations.
Develop and configure scalable solutions using Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), APEX, Visualforce, and Salesforce query languages (SOQL/SOSL).
Evaluate technical implementations and documentation to ensure alignment with Salesforce best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with junior developers through code reviews and constructive feedback to maintain code quality and consistency.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including process flows, naming conventions, and platform policies and procedures.
Mentor development team members by sharing best practices and participating in peer code reviews.
Engage in the full software development lifecycle—from design and requirements gathering to development, testing, and deployment.
Assist in diagnosing and resolving defects across all stages of delivery, including production deployment and implementation.
Work closely with Solutions Architects, Development Managers, Business Analysts, and other Agile team members to address complex policy and integration challenges across multiple Salesforce orgs.

Qualifications for the Senior Salesforce Developer include:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
10+ years of hands-on experience in custom development on the Salesforce platform, with deep expertise in both Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex programming.
3+ years of experience leading the implementation of custom Salesforce solutions in Lightning, with expert-level knowledge of Salesforce technologies, data modeling, system integration, and data migration strategies.
Must have active Salesforce Platform Developer I and II Certifications which will be validated in Trailhead.
Proven proficiency in Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS), Visualforce, Triggers, Batch Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and a wide range of declarative tools including Flows, Process Builder, and Lightning App Builder.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.

Compensation for the Senior Salesforce Developer includes:

Salary Range: $145,000 - $160,000 depending on experience
