The Role
We are hiring a Marketing Director to lead and scale our customer acquisition and retention efforts across DTC and Amazon. This is a dual-cap role that requires mastery of both performance marketing (paid social, search, CRO) and retention marketing (email, SMS, subscription, loyalty).
You'll be tasked with building predictable acquisition systems, optimizing paid media spend, increasing customer lifetime value, and driving cohesive campaigns across every step of the funnel.
You'll lead a small, elite team of marketers and collaborate with our creative, product, and operations teams to make every dollar perform harderand every customer stay longer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Acquisition / Growth Marketing
- Co-develop strategy and lead execution across Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, AppLovin, etc
- Build and manage a full-funnel performance roadmap launches, promos, evergreen
- Optimize daily paid spend to hit NC-ROAS, CPA, and CAC targets
- Partner with our creative strategist and media buyer to ensure assets align with performance insights
- Oversee landing page optimization, conversion funnels, and testing strategy
- Stay on top of digital ad trends, platform updates, and best practices
Retention / Lifecycle Marketing
- Own post-purchase journey across email, SMS, loyalty, and surprise & delight
- Build scalable onboarding flows, cancel flows, and win-back automation
- Increase 60-day and 180-day LTV across subscription and non-subscription cohorts
- Manage list growth, deliverability, segmentation, and campaign calendar
- Partner with customer support to reduce friction + increase satisfaction
- Co-develop marketing calendar(s)
Data & Team Leadership
- Lead weekly marketing performance reviews with CMO
- Mentor and grow a cross-functional marketing team (growth, retention, creative ops)
- Own the marketing P&L and budget allocation across channels
- Identify levers to scale: product bundles, launches, pricing tests, funnels
- Collaborate with CRO, all agencies / contractors, and Influencer/UGC teams to ensure alignment
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 4+ years in e-commerce - worked at an agency or owned/operated ecom brand (preferably DTC supplements or CPG)
- Deep experience in Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads with $1M+ annual spend
- Proficiency in Klaviyo, Postscript, and funnel-based copy strategy
- Strong analytical capabilities in GA4, Excel, Triple Whale, etc.
- Experience in building out landing pages, split tests, and promotional calendars
- Prior experience managing a retention P&L or LTV initiatives is a major plus
- Bonus: experience in subscription, influencer seeding,
Location, Working hours & Compensation:
- Full-time, remote, 8:00AM - 5:00PM / MST
- Occasional travel (5-15%) may be required for on-location shoots, events, and expos ( Quarterly company-paid trips for non-local hires can be arranged as needed)
- $85,000 - $130,000 / year
