Overview:
The Senior Social Marketing Operations Manager will be crucial in ensuring the security, governance, and efficiency of social marketing operations. This pivotal role will drive large-scale channel governance initiatives, overseeing 400+ social media channels and collaborating with marketers across the organization. We're looking for a proactive individual with expertise in managing extensive projects, deep knowledge of social media platforms and setups, a passion for leveraging tools and AI, and the ability to excel independently in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Partner with team leads to analyze and optimize the current operating model, enhancing efficiency and significantly mitigating channel safety risks for Google.
- Scalable Governance: Lead comprehensive channel safety audits across 400+ social media channels, ensuring robust security and compliance across all platforms.
- Change Management: Drive the successful implementation of new processes and technologies, ensuring seamless rollout and active engagement of key stakeholders.
- Automation & Innovation: Evaluate existing workflows and implement AI-driven automations to dramatically increase speed and efficiency within social media operations.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide expert guidance and timely communication to marketers regarding channel safety, operational procedures, and audit findings.
Top 3 Daily Priorities:
- Audit Management: Oversee daily audit activities, address inquiries promptly, and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
- AI Strategy & Implementation: Develop and execute AI automation strategies to enhance Channel Operations.
- Process Optimization: Work closely with team leads to analyze and improve existing processes and the operating model, addressing current challenges and areas for improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven expertise in managing and setting up social accounts across major platforms, including LinkedIn, Meta Business Suite (Facebook & Instagram), X/Twitter, TikTok, Bluesky, etc.
- Exceptional execution skills, adaptability, and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining clear and timely communication.
- Demonstrated experience in social channel security management.
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and regions. Ability to create comprehensive documentation and enablement tools, including guidelines.
- Strong aptitude for tools, technology, and AI applications.
