Frontend Software Engineer - (Full Time Remote LATAM)

Build the platform behind the most extensive startup engagement programs in the world. YouNoodle is looking for a talented Front-end engineer to join our global team of coders, hackers, and data geeks. We are helping tens of thousands of startups move forward on our global startup programs platform and working hard to build the world’s largest innovation engine. We are looking for someone who knows their way around JavaScript and React. Our codebase is very structured and neat, and we want to keep it that way. We’re looking for someone who can dive in and take responsibility where needed, whether speeding up the site or building new user-facing features. Sometimes, you will work on a new platform or language, and we would love someone who is fearless, versatile, curious, and can jump right in to get the job done. You will be given a lot of independence in your work and a real opportunity to influence the product meaningfully.

Role Description:

This role involves working closely with our product & engineering team on our web SaaS product, YouNoodle Compete. You will be helping build new features, squash bugs, and test; therefore, investigation and logic should come naturally to you as they do to Sherlock. You will help and assist both technical & non-technical noodlers with product issues and requests.

Desired Skills and Experience:

You are the perfect front engineer if you have/are:

- 3+ years of experience as a front engineer.

- Proficient in React framework and up-to-date with the latest version and best practices.

- Experienced with Design framework (Material Design, Tailwind).

- Have a passion for neat, maintainable, and testable code.

- Love solving complex engineering problems and challenges.

- Disciplined enough to accommodate a flexible & remote workflow.

- Think that collaboration is more important than being right.

- Are curious and have a deep desire to learn.

- Fluent in English.

Nice to have:

- Experience with Inertia.

- Strong understanding of state management with Redux or Zustand.

- Strong understanding of React Query/TanStack Query.

- React Hook Form.

- Firebase

- Laravel or PHP

- Experience as a backend/full stack engineer.

- Familiarity with Turborepo.
