Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with strong experience in big data processing and advanced analytics to join our real estate brokerage platform. The ideal candidate will manage and analyze large-scale datasets (properties, leads, transactions, customer behavior), link multiple data sources, build predictive models, and deliver actionable market intelligence. The role is critical in building the data backbone for future AI-powered services.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, integrate, and process large datasets from multiple sources (CRM, portals, marketing platforms, internal systems).
• Use big data technologies to handle structured and unstructured data efficiently.
• Generate deep market and business insights for decision-making (e.g., trends in property demand, pricing, agent performance).
• Build predictive models for use cases such as: property value prediction, lead scoring, demand forecasting, churn prediction, and conversion likelihood.
• Prepare and structure data for AI applications (recommendation engines, customer segmentation, chatbots).
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and tech teams to translate business goals into data pipelines and analytics.
• Continuously optimize data models and pipelines for performance, scalability, and accuracy.

Technical Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data science or big data analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with big data frameworks such as Apache Spark, PySpark, Hadoop, or Databricks.
• Proficient in Python or Scala; strong SQL skills.
• Experience working with data lakes, cloud data warehouses (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake).
• Solid experience in machine learning using libraries like scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, etc.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
• Real estate industry experience or marketplace platform experience is highly preferred.
