- Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for a multi-year Oracle ERP program, overseeing design, development, and phased implementation.
- Lead technical planning and integration for Oracle Fusion modules including Finance, Procurement, Contracts, and HR, while supporting the parallel operation of existing EBS systems.
- Mentor and guide developers, set technical standards, and perform proof-of-concept work as needed.
- Engage with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Translate complex technical details into clear, actionable insights for business and executive stakeholders.
- Oversee development, maintenance, and support of EBS and Cloud/Fusion functionality following established architecture, methodologies, and best practices.
- Lead or participate in requirements definition, system design, documentation, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production issues while maintaining minimal disruption to business operations.
- Support and maintain integrations, conversions, and data transformation using PL/SQL, REST/SOAP, BI Publisher, OTBI, and related technologies.
- Ensure coverage during core U.S. hours (9:00 AM – 3:30 PM CT) with flexibility for critical deployments.
- Must Have Qualifications
- Proven experience leading Oracle ERP (EBS and Fusion Cloud) implementation or migration projects.
- Expertise in PL/SQL, XML, BI Publisher, REST/SOAP integrations, and Oracle development tools (Visual Builder Studio, APEX, OAF).
- Oracle Visual Builder Studio
- Strong understanding of Oracle Financials, Procurement, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and HR/HCM modules.
- Experience/knowledge:
- SQL, PL/SQL, XML, BI Publisher, Alerts and Workflow development customizations and extensions
- Oracle Visual Builder Studio- near expert level
- Oracle Fast Formulas
- Linux shell scripts
- SOAP XML, WSDL, XML schema, and XSL
- RESTful services, JSON
- SOA gateway deployments
- SOAPUI, XMLSpy, POSTMAN for SOA testing and development
- Familiarity with Agile and SDLC methodologies, automated testing, and regression testing.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience mentoring teams and managing vendor relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, with 7+ years of relevant technical experience.
- Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive results in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud suite (Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Learning).
- Exposure to integration tools such as WSO2 or Kintana/HP PPM.
- Strong understanding of Oracle service request management and issue resolution.
