Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Owner to support the delivery and optimization of our Marketing Technology (MarTech) platforms. This role is heavily focused on backlog management, user story creation, and sprint execution, working closely with engineering and marketing teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
The Product Owner will play a critical role in enabling personalized, compliant, and data-driven marketing experiences, including managing customer preference management and marketing campaigns execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage the product backlog for MarTech platforms (familiarity with OneTrust Consent Preference Management, AEP, AJO, AEM, or other martech platforms), ensuring it is well-groomed, prioritized, and aligned with business needs
• Write clear, actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams
• Translate marketing and compliance requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives)
• Work closely with developers and QA to clarify requirements and ensure successful delivery
• Support implementation and optimization of platforms such as CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and consent management tools
• Manage and enhance customer preference centers, including communication preferences, consent capture, and subscription management
• Support integration and configuration of consent and privacy platforms such as OneTrust
• Ensure alignment with data privacy regulations (e.g., familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA)
• Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria and business requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously refine requirements and improve delivery quality
• Plan UAT and launch/GTM strategy for new features and functionalities with the IT & marketing stakeholders
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to campaign execution, tracking, and data flows
