Job Description:
Advanced Implementation with Google Tag Manager:
• Lead the planning, implementation, and management of complex tracking setups using Google Tag Manager.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective tracking solutions.
• Technical understanding and experiences with digital media solutions Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
• Knowledge and experience in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, DataLayer and web Analytics
• Proficiency in creating custom triggers, tags and variables within Google Tag Manager
• Serve as the primary administrator for Google Tag Manager (GTM).
• Oversee the creation and management of tags within GTM.
• Lead container merging efforts to streamline and optimize tracking processes.
• Execute smooth migration experiences from Google Analytics Universal (G3) to Google Analytics 4 (G4).
Integration and Data Management:
• Integrate Google Analytics G$ with BigQuery for comprehensive data analysis.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure seamless integration of product links, Google Ads, and other essential components.
Event Tracking and Understanding:
• Develop and implement robust event tracking strategies within GTM.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of events and their significance in analytics.
Performance Optimization:
• Monitor and optimize site performance through effective tag management strategies.
• Implement improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and speed of the website.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align GTM initiatives with business objectives.
• Provide clear communication on tag implementations, container merging, and migration processes.
Problem Resolution and Troubleshooting:
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to tag implementations and experiment setups.
• Provide expert support to address technical challenges and ensure smooth operations.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with various teams, including marketing, designers, development, and analytics, to align tracking initiatives with overall business goals.
• Effectively communicate updates and changes in tag implementations and optimization experiments to internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Google Tag Manager Administrator.
• Expertise in creating and managing tags within GTM.
• Demonstrated ability to merge and optimize containers for efficient tracking.
• Experience in migrating from Google Analytics Universal (G3) to Google Analytics 4 (G4).
• Familiarity with integrating Google Analytics 4 with BigQuery for advanced data analysis.
• Strong understanding of event tracking and its role in analytics.
• Proficiency in managing site performance through effective tag management.
• Ability to integrate and manage product links and Google Ads links within GTM.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
