We're looking for a highly motivated, self-driven Creative Coordinator to join our fast-growing team and contribute to our mission.

Role Overview

We're looking for a highly motivated, self-driven Email Marketing Strategist to join our fast-growing team and drive measurable revenue growth for our clients. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our clients' customers, from the first abandoned cart to long-term retention, ensuring every touchpoint shifts their perspective and moves them closer to a purchase. As an agency role, you will be architecting and optimizing these systems for a diverse portfolio of 20+ client accounts simultaneously.

What You’ll Do:

  • Retention Strategy & Architecture:

Customer Journey Mapping: Design and manage end-to-end automated sequences (flows) that guide users through different stages of the funnel.

Strategic Copywriting: Write high-converting, narrative-driven copy that focuses on "belief shifts" while balancing the need to be "selling products."

  • Technical Operations & QA:

Technical Optimization: Build, QA, and launch campaigns within our client’s chosen ESP, ensuring 100% data accuracy and mobile responsiveness.

A/B Testing & Analytics: Conduct rigorous testing of subject lines, CTAs, and layout variations,etc. Move beyond tracking "Open Rates" to focus on Conversion Rates and LTV impact.

List Health & Deliverability: Manage segmentation, list cleaning, email deliverability and sunset policies to ensure our emails actually land in the inbox.

  • Internal Agency Growth:

Internal Brand Authority: Architect and manage Yerbalist’s internal nurture flows and founder-led newsletters, prioritizing high deliverability and positioning the agency as a thought leader in the space.

Cold Outreach Architecture: Design and execute strategic cold email systems to fuel Yerbalist’s sales pipeline. This includes offer creation, rigorous A/B testing, and managing the technical deliverability required to reach high-value prospects.

  • Coordination & Collaboration

Client Management: Communicate / coordinate with clients and internal teams to produce email campaigns and nurture flows that drive revenue impact for our clients.

Full-Funnel Integration: Collaborate on landing page optimization, offer creation, ad campaigns and lead magnet creation to ensure a seamless and coordinated experience from click to conversion and across teams and stakeholders.

What You’ll Need (Qualifications)

  • The Strategist Mindset: You understand the difference between a technician and a strategist. You don't just "do," you "architect."
  • Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with best-in-class ESPs, and familiarity with CRO tools.
  • Data-Driven: You are comfortable looking at a spreadsheet to determine why a specific segment is underperforming.
  • Creative Flair: A strong grasp of narrative-driven storytelling and "quality over quantity" content.
  • Privacy Conscious: Understanding of modern data privacy regulations and first-party data strategies.
  • AI-Driven Efficiency: Expertly integrate AI workflows (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to optimize time and resource efficiency, using AI to assist in copywriting, ideation, and asset generation across the portfolio.

Tech Stack We Use:

  • Project Management: Proficiency in Asana and Slack is essential.
  • Collaboration: Deep experience with Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs).
  • Email Platforms: Mastery of best in class ESPs and ability to use any ESP.
  • AI & Analytics: Experience with Claude/ChatGPT and Motion App (or similar creative analytics) is a plus.

Success Metrics

Internal Agency Metrics

  1. Revenue per Client: Directly responsible for growing the account value and overall profitability for Yerbalist.
  2. Client Perception of Success: Maintaining high client satisfaction and long-term retention through proactive strategic communication and expectation management.
  3. Stability and Predictability of Deliverables: Ensuring consistent, high-quality, and on-time output across a diverse portfolio of 20+ client accounts.

Client Success Metrics

  1. Flow-based Revenue vs. One-off Campaigns: Maximizing "hands-off" revenue by prioritizing automated buyer sequences over manual blasts.
  2. List Growth & Retention Rates: Scaling the client’s database healthily and increasing buyer repeat purchase rates and LTV.
  3. Open Rates & Deliverability: Vigilant monitoring of engagement and technical health to ensure consistent high-authority inbox placement.
