Role Overview
We're looking for a highly motivated, self-driven Email Marketing Strategist to join our fast-growing team and drive measurable revenue growth for our clients. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our clients' customers, from the first abandoned cart to long-term retention, ensuring every touchpoint shifts their perspective and moves them closer to a purchase. As an agency role, you will be architecting and optimizing these systems for a diverse portfolio of 20+ client accounts simultaneously.
What You’ll Do:
Customer Journey Mapping: Design and manage end-to-end automated sequences (flows) that guide users through different stages of the funnel.
Strategic Copywriting: Write high-converting, narrative-driven copy that focuses on "belief shifts" while balancing the need to be "selling products."
Technical Optimization: Build, QA, and launch campaigns within our client’s chosen ESP, ensuring 100% data accuracy and mobile responsiveness.
A/B Testing & Analytics: Conduct rigorous testing of subject lines, CTAs, and layout variations,etc. Move beyond tracking "Open Rates" to focus on Conversion Rates and LTV impact.
List Health & Deliverability: Manage segmentation, list cleaning, email deliverability and sunset policies to ensure our emails actually land in the inbox.
Internal Brand Authority: Architect and manage Yerbalist’s internal nurture flows and founder-led newsletters, prioritizing high deliverability and positioning the agency as a thought leader in the space.
Cold Outreach Architecture: Design and execute strategic cold email systems to fuel Yerbalist’s sales pipeline. This includes offer creation, rigorous A/B testing, and managing the technical deliverability required to reach high-value prospects.
Client Management: Communicate / coordinate with clients and internal teams to produce email campaigns and nurture flows that drive revenue impact for our clients.
Full-Funnel Integration: Collaborate on landing page optimization, offer creation, ad campaigns and lead magnet creation to ensure a seamless and coordinated experience from click to conversion and across teams and stakeholders.
