Job Description:

• Development of analytical models and data-driven solutions supporting the Ministry's system.
• Improvement of work processes, support for data-driven decision-making, and improvement of citizen services.
• Development of statistical models and algorithms for forecasting, classification, and anomaly detection, alongside the development of KPIs and support for the implementation of the models in core systems.
• Close daily collaboration with project managers, systems analysts, development teams, and professional stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• 5 years or more of experience in Data roles, including at least 2 years as an actual Data Scientist.
• Proven experience in developing statistical models, data analysis, and algorithms for forecasting, classification, and anomaly detection.
• Strong experience working with SQL and practical experience working with large databases (Big Data / Large Databases).
• Experience in Core Systems projects or previous experience in the public/government sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Statistics / Operations Research / Mathematics or a Bachelor's degree in Exact Sciences OR a research-based Master's degree or higher in Economics / Bioinformatics / Computational Linguistics / Cognition + courses totaling at least 200 hours in the field of Information Systems or a Doctoral degree (Ph.D) in any field + one additional year of experience beyond the required experience (a total of 6 years of experience in Data) or a graduate of a technological unit in the IDF (MAMRAM, 8200, C4I and equivalent units) / Baraam in the technological field.
