Xuman.AI is a social app where people post content about what they are open to sharing and experiencing. Someone can discover them by scrolling, and if it resonates and vibes with them, they can connect instantly.

On the surface, it collapses fragmented workflows into one system.

Underneath, we are building something far deeper: The Human Experience Engine, our Persona Compatibility layer. This engine matches the right person with the right fit at the right time, based on who they are, what they want, and how they connect.

The founder's vision is to layer cognitive science into human persona compatibility, leading to hyper-personalized, real-time human connections.

Xuman.AI is the productization of the founder's previous bootstrapped venture: ideation, market research, pilots, MVP, and a technical foundation built to scale. The product is built and live on both app stores. We are past the building phase and into distribution: getting it in front of real users and turning it into a repeatable business.

Why this role matters:

Sixteen services, two apps on both stores and a web front, built fast and now going to scale. Two people take that estate to the standard the next stage needs: the critical paths under test, the gates in CI, and a bar on every merge that holds as the team grows. They set how the whole company writes software.

What you'll own:

- The estate read end to end and taken to the next standard: the critical paths under test, the structure cleaner with every merge

- The gates: CI checks, test coverage on the money, booking, auth and personal-data paths, and an automated reviewer on every pull request that you run and prove

- Every merge into production across both apps and the web, with the high-risk paths reviewed by you personally

- The standard the leads review against, and engineers getting better through review that teaches rather than blocks

- Half the estate, so no pull request ever waits on one person

Must have:

- Five years or more across the full stack, shipping products real people depended on

- Backend depth: Node and TypeScript services, relational schemas, and migrations run against live data. Ours is NestJS with Prisma and PostgreSQL.

- Mobile depth: React Native apps you shipped to both stores, and the release cycle that comes with them. Ours is Expo.

- You have refactored a live codebase without taking it down, and can say how you sequenced it

- Tests you put on critical paths yourself, and CI gates you wired so they could not be skipped

- You have reviewed at a senior level and made a team measurably better

- You read the requirement first and the diff second, and you can tell code that works from code that holds at ten times the load

- Security instincts on authentication, money paths and personal data; database review that catches the missing index and the unsafe migration

- You give hard feedback directly and specifically, and you are comfortable rejecting work and saying exactly why

- AI in the review loop: you have used AI to review or refactor at scale and you know where it gets it wrong

- You use AI tools (Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT) daily to write, debug, and ship faster. Not optional; this is how we work.
