We are looking for a highly skilled NetSuite Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced, multi-tenant integration capabilities.

Position Overview

The NetSuite Developer will work on a Universal Integration Connector, enabling seamless synchronization of Purchase Orders, Quotes, Acknowledgements, Bills, and other related documents between NetSuite and an internal enterprise platform for multiple tenants.

This role will lead development on SuiteScript, integration patterns, performance tuning, and deployment using SDF. The ideal candidate will help transform existing ad-hoc scripts into a modular, productized, and observability-driven connector with strong SDLC standards.

The selected candidate will collaborate closely with product managers, backend engineers, business analysts, and the operations team.

Key ResponsibilitiesNetSuite Development & Integrations

• Design, develop, and maintain SuiteScript 2.x, RESTlets, and integrations for document flows (POs, Acks, Bills, Quotes).
• Build and optimize Saved Searches and scripted search queries for high-volume financial and operational data.
• Implement idempotency, duplicate detection, and safe versioning strategies across multi-tenant environments.
• Manage file handling with NetSuite File Cabinet and ensure secure, performant document exchange.

Mapping, Normalization & Multi-Tenant Architecture

• Work with backend teams to develop a declarative mapping layer for translating tenant-specific fields into standardized schemas.
• Define normalization rules for purchase order and invoice identifiers.
• Participate in tenant discovery, identifying differences, integration risks, and mapping implications.

Reliability, Observability & Security

• Implement structured exception codes, retry mechanisms, and standardized error handling.
• Contribute to dashboards and logging frameworks to track throughput, SLAs, and system behavior.
• Maintain least-privilege role setups, deploy secure token-based authentication/OAuth, and ensure audit-ready operations.

SDLC & Productization

• Help transition the connector toward version-controlled, CI/CD-enabled delivery.
• Participate in packaging strategy decisions (SuiteApp vs script-based deployment).
• Produce clear documentation, runbooks, and implementation guides for internal and external teams.

Required Skills & Competencies

• 4+ years hands-on experience with SuiteScript 2.x, RESTlets, and Map/Reduce scripts in production environments.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite’s transaction and record model (POs, Bills, Item Receipts, Estimates/Quotes, Custom Records).
• Proven experience integrating NetSuite with external systems via REST APIs.
• Expertise in Saved Searches and performance optimization for large data volumes.
• Solid understanding of roles & permissions, TBA/OAuth, and SDF deployments.
• Strong JavaScript development capability with structured logging and robust error handling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing or publishing a SuiteApp.
• Background in procure-to-pay, order lifecycle, AR/AP processes.
• Familiarity with message queues and event-driven integration.
• Experience with multi-tenant platforms and per-tenant configuration behavior.
• Experience integrating NetSuite with third-party enterprise platforms.
