Senior Product Designer - Fintech

About The Role

We are hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead end-to-end design for a next-gen digital payments and wallet application, combining strong UX, UI, and motion design capabilities.

You will design seamless, secure, and scalable experiences across the full payments lifecycle (onboarding, KYC, wallet, transactions), ensuring a premium, intuitive, and high-performance product in a regulated FinTech environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Own full design lifecycle (research wireframes prototypes UI) across mobile & web
• Design flows for wallets, P2P, QR payments, bill pay, remittances, checkout
• Build KYC, onboarding, authentication, and verification journeys
• Simplify complex financial workflows & compliance requirements into intuitive UX
• Create high-quality UI with strong visual hierarchy, typography, and consistency
• Design micro-interactions & motion to enhance usability and feedback
• Optimize journeys for speed, clarity, success rates, and error handling
• Develop and scale design systems & UI components
• Translate data-heavy interfaces into clear, scannable visuals
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Risk, CX teams
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data-driven improvements
• Ensure cross-platform consistency (iOS, Android, Web) and accessibility
• Contribute to UX strategy, journey mapping, and service design
• Support product storytelling and premium UI delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Design, HCI, CS, or related field
• 5–8+ years in Product Design (FinTech/payments preferred)
• Strong portfolio of transaction-heavy, end-to-end UX/UI products
• Experience with:
• Wallets, payment flows, checkout journeys
• KYC/onboarding & authentication flows
• Expertise in Figma (+ Sketch/Adobe XD as a plus)
• Strong in design systems, interaction design, usability principles
• Experience with motion tools (After Effects, Rive, Lottie)
• Ability to simplify complex backend/payment logic into UX flows
• Knowledge of regulated environments (KYC, AML, fraud prevention)
• Agile experience with strong engineering collaboration
• Strong stakeholder communication & presentation skills

Preferred Competencies

• Experience in mobile-first FinTech / telecom-linked payments
• Knowledge of BPMN 2.0, service design, journey orchestration
• Exposure to API integrations (payment gateways, banking systems)
• Understanding of data-driven UX, funnels, and conversion optimization
• Experience in emerging markets / high-growth ecosystems
• Background in fast-paced startup environments

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation: 300,000 - 350,000 PKR with Health insurance, EOBI and Gratuity
