Position Overview
We’re seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist to act as a client-facing advisor and performance partner across a growing portfolio of digital marketing clients. This is a strategic and tactical role—not managerial, but hands-on and high-impact. You will own client relationships, provide strategic consulting, and lead results-driven digital strategies across SEO, PPC, and Meta Ads. You’ll also collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure marketing initiatives deliver measurable results.
This is not a role for someone who waits for instructions. We need a self-starter with a deep understanding of digital performance and the confidence to guide strategy, evaluate results, and pivot with purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and refine digital strategy across SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads for multiple client portfolios
- Guide standard to high-value campaigns with budget accountability for paid media spend
- Translate client business goals into actionable marketing plans and campaign tactics
- Act as primary point of contact for client communications, strategic consulting, and performance-focused account management
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of marketing strategy by managing project timelines, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring tactical teams are aligned to priority outcomes
- Work closely with internal and external tactical teams to execute and refine campaign delivery
- Analyze and interpret marketing data to surface insights and optimization opportunities
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all performance reporting and dashboards
- Support business development through evaluations, input on proposals, and (when needed) pitch participation
- Maintain a high-level understanding of all active campaigns to anticipate client needs and improve outcomes
- Participate in internal strategy sessions and reporting reviews to enhance client value and retention

Must-Have Experience & Skills
- 3–5+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience in a fast-paced or agency environment
- Proven track record in SEO, PPC (Google Ads), and Meta Ads strategy and performance management
- Active Google Ads and Meta certifications
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, Looker Studio, WordPress, SEMrush, Google Search Console, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and CRM/marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot)
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic discussions and communicate with non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong client-facing presence
- Comfortable collaborating across content, web, and paid teams to drive execution
- Organized, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities in parallel
- Experience overseeing campaigns with significant monthly ad spend

- Competitive salary and benefits package available, including remote flexibility and team development programs
- Starting annual salary range: $65,000–$75,000 CAD, commensurate with experience
