The Role
We're on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to take the lead on our clients marketing strategy and initiatives. This key leadership role will be instrumental in boosting brand awareness, getting new customers on board, and growing revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strategic and analytical mind, a proven track record in digital marketing, brand management, and leading teams, along with exceptional communication and collaboration skills. This role calls for a visionary leader capable of crafting and delivering innovative marketing strategies that line up with company objectives and deliver significant results.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and put in place comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's vision and objectives, making good use of both agency-focused and broader marketing principles.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, encouraging a culture of creativity, collaboration, accountability, and professional development. This includes setting clear goals, providing guidance, and managing workloads effectively.
- Brand Development: Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity to maintain a consistent and engaging narrative across all platforms and ensure brand awareness and recognition.
- Digital Marketing: Direct and oversee online marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, email campaigns, and potentially other digital channels, to enhance our digital presence and drive online engagement and conversions.
- Market Research & Analysis: Analyse market trends, what the competition's up to, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies, spot opportunities for growth, and fine-tune campaign performance based on data-driven decisions and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Performance Metrics & Reporting: Establish, monitor, and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess how well marketing campaigns are doing, providing regular reports on progress, results, and return on investment (ROI), and tweaking strategies based on performance data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, recruitment, and potentially creative/digital teams, to ensure joined-up marketing efforts that support overall business objectives and deliver integrated campaigns.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively across different programmes and channels to maximise ROI and achieve financial goals.
- Campaign Management & Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with objectives and standards, working with internal teams, keeping an eye on performance, and implementing data-driven improvements.
- Business Development Support: Work with the business development team to identify and go after new business opportunities, contributing to proposals and presentations.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Professional certifications in Digital Marketing, SEO, Meta, and Google Ads are highly valued.
- An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred but not essential.
- A minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing teams and effectively delivering marketing strategies.
- Proven and demonstrable experience in digital marketing, brand management, and team development is essential.
- Experience within a marketing agency environment and managing client relationships is a significant plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making, ensuring marketing strategies are informed by key metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to lead teams and work effectively with other departments, including senior management and potentially clients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities and delivering results under pressure.

- Proficient in team and time management, effectively leading teams and working with other departments, whilst delegating tasks to keep projects on track.

- Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM tools.
- Excellent project management, organisational, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Hardware Requirements:
- Own a computer with Windows Pro 11 and at least an i5 processor. Needs at least 8GB Ram and a computer no older than 3 years old.
- Noise cancelling Headphones.
- Install and maintain antivirus software.
- Have a UPS/Backup Battery/alternative Power Source to manage power outages.
- Fibre internet connection or at least 20mb download and 10mb upload speed.
